Clearlite Awnings
Clearlite awnings are the simple DIY awning.
Clearlite awnings use 3.0mm solid polycarbonate sheet. They look like glass!! They have a maximum projection of 1220mm but larger projections can be done on request.
The awnings are curved as the sheet needs to be manufactured under tension. This prevents the sheet from sagging.
This awning is different to the CARBOLITE awnings in that we use a 3.0mm solid polycarbonate sheet UV both sides. The sheet is often used in applications where high impact may occur (bank screens etc).
These sheets are available in clear, grey, opal and bronze.
The awning system is the same for our CARBOLITE awning systems using our extruded aluminium joining bars with the unique hinge beam/weather bar attachment system.
